IPGs Material Processing Systems (MPS) Group is focused on integrating laser beam delivery systems, motion platforms, and controls into customer solutions.
The Mechanical Technician is responsible for assembly, testing and service of MPS products and prototypes.
This role will work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and subject experts to deliver high-quality products that contribute to the overall success of IPG Photonics.
Duties:
Assembling, testing, integrating, aligning, and inspecting of MPS products, assemblies, and prototypes Monitor and manipulate the instruments and processes being used to test MPS products, including assembling, calibrating, improving and performing maintenance on test equipment Assist Engineering in troubleshooting and improving MPS products Write or assist in the development and review of internal or external manufacturing or service documentation, test plans and test procedures Some travel (.
