The Leave of Absence (LOA)/ Long Term Disability (LTD) Analyst is part of the centralized SHE Occupational Health Team and assists in the management of National Grid's LOA and LTD program.
The LOA/LTD Analyst manages the daily LOA/LTD.
Key Accountabilities:
Employee Services (ES) Liaison and primary contact for State Family Leave, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability (LTD) related inquiriesPrimary point of contact on Sick Pay, State Leaves, LTD policy & time coding questions regarding sick pay benefits (both company-provided and statutory time), maternity leave, parental bonding leave, LTD, Paid Family leave, Sick in Family, Military leaveMaintain disability databases - (Management, Worker's Compensation (WC), New England)Process and calculate Sick Leave End Dates (SLEDS) to Managers/Sedgwick, Worker's Compensation (WC) Claims, NE Electric Union employeesManage Weekly Sedgwick Payment Report - NENE Electric Unions - Worker's Compensation offset lettersManage LNG SLEDS mailboxManage MA Paid Family Leave / MA PFML Leave Contact Manage the day to day relationship with Third Party Administrator including interpretation and application of established contractual agreements and state lawsDevelop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to share best practices and provide technical advice
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in related fields Experience managing the company's absence management programs and processUnderstand company's sick-leave benefits and applicable state family leave regulations and lawsUnderstand of Worker's Compensation regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective relationship management skillsAbility to make timely and effective decisionsDemonstrated proficiency in applicable information systemsExcellent analytical skillsExcellent computer and data analysis skillsPay Details:
$35.
00 to $39.
