Electrical Engineer

The Hope Group, a division of KLX and aleader insourcing motion and control system solutions seeks a self-motivated and dedicated Electrical Engineer / PLC Programmer to perform various engineering functions relating to design of electronic/electrical control panels including component selection, development of bills of materials, preparation of quotations, liaison with vendors, interfacing directly with customers and providing technical expertise.
Essential functions of the position include but are not limited to:
+ Develop associated control systems using various brands of Programmable Logic Controllers and HMI program development and integration, to include (but not limited to):
+ Hydraulic power system control and actuator movement
+ Trending and alarms
+ Provide cost estimates and system design requirements from customer concepts, specifications and requests for quotation; utilizing catalogs, handbooks, standard engineering practices and verbal/written request.
+ Create panel layouts, prepare wire run instruction list.
+ Provide sketches, bills of materials, other information to drafter for preparation of formalized electric lists, schematics and wiring interconnection diagrams for the following purposes: use by fabrication shop during construction, use during the startup and commissioning phases of equipment, and for the inclusion in customer maintenance and service manuals.
+ Provide process control engineering support to company sales people, assisting during sales calls when requested. Assist drafter and parts procurement coordinator in performance of their duties. Provide electrical controls engineering support and assistance to department personnel. Assist fabricators in trouble shooting of electro/hydraulic systems, offering guidance and recommendations concerning electrical interfacing and corrective actions that may be taken.
+ Perform field service supervision and start up assistance as required to complete the overall project start up and operation requirements of projects designed by the company. Perform field service supervision and start up assistance as required to assist customers in startup and operation of equipment designed by others. When required, act as the field liaison on behalf of the customer to ensure customer requirements are met. Field service requirements will require extended travel both domestically and abroad.
+ Provide similar support for industrial hydraulic power unit control as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
+ Participate in the quality improvement process as warranted.
+ Perform other similar or related duties as required or requested.
1. Must understand relay logic control panel and PLC Logic driven controls.
2. Prefer Associates Degree in Engineering or Related Field.
3. Proven experience in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming.
4. At least 3 years? demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment,with hydraulics.
5. Ability to travel domestically and internationally ? 30%
6. Proven attention to detail, excellent communicator and customer service orientation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
